Azienda Agricola Giovanna Tantini

The Tantini estate stretches across the communes of Castelnuovo del Garda and Sona in the province of Verona. It is perched on the terminal moraine overlooking Lake Garda.
Family-owned since the early 20th century, it comprises 11.5 hectares of vineyards, a winery built in 2002, and a farmhouse B&B renovated in 2011. In total there are 19 hectares and the estate’s wines are produced exclusively from its own fruit.

TASTING OF 6 WINES OF LAKE GARDA (MIN. 2 PEOPLE)

This unique experience begins with a walk through the vineyards that extend between the municipalities of Castelnuovo del Garda and Sona, in the province of Verona, on the morainic hills overlooking Lake Garda. During the walk you will hear stories about the history and evolution of Giovanna Tantini and her wines. It will also explain the types of grapes that grow in the area of Lake Garda, their characteristics and the meticulous work that is carried out in the vineyard under the direction of Giovanna to obtain the best expression of each of them, which is then reflected on the bottle. After the tour of the vineyards, you will participate in a guided tasting of the 4 DOC wines (Custoza DOC, Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC, Ma.gi.CO Garda DOC and Bardolino DOC) produced by Giovanna and her 2 IGT wines dedicated to her sons Ettore and Greta. The wines will be accompanied by typical local products, such as meats and cheeses of the area.

PICNIC IN THE VINEYARD (MIN. 4 PEOPLE)

After a visit to the vineyard and the winery where we will tell you briefly the history of the company, you can enjoy a magical moment of relaxation sitting in the shade of our pergola vineyards of Garganega and Trebbianello. A break to everyday life where you combine the wonder of nature and the pleasure of a glass of wine. The picnic basket we will provide at the end of the visit includes: - One bottle (for every two adult guests) of one of our fresh summer wines (Custoza DOC, Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC or Ma.GI.Co Corvina Garda DOC) - Typical local cheeses and cold cuts - Dried fruit - Olives - Bread - Fruit - A bottle of water
