Description
The vineyards spread gracefully on the hill of Bricco Quaglia, a place long celebrated for the production of high-quality wines. It is on this hill that our captivating story takes place. Thanks to the privileged position of our vineyards and our unwavering commitment, we can truly narrate and celebrate this wonderful land.
Our core values are passionate work, a constant desire for improvement, and a craving for innovation.
Our history begins in the early 1900s when Alfonso Boeri, the great-grandfather of the current owners, started cultivating vines on the hill of Bricco Quaglia. The passion for this craft, as demanding as it is rewarding, has been passed down from generation to generation, from Alfonso to his son Giovanni and his namesake grandson Alfonso.
Giorgio and Roberto Boeri, Alfonso's sons and the grandsons of the company's founder, took the reins of the business in 1998 and decided to preserve the brand by vinifying only the finest grapes. The first wine of this new generation was the Barbera d'Asti Superiore Pörlapà, made with grapes from a vineyard planted back in 1936.
From those initial 4,000 bottles produced in 2001, our company has experienced steady growth, and enthusiasm for our wines has increased year by year, especially abroad. Encouraged by this success, we began to vinify all the grapes from our vineyards and expanded our production, focusing not only on the traditional Barbera but also on varieties like Moscato, Chardonnay, and, most recently, Nebbiolo.
In 2005, we ventured into the Asian market, and in 2006, we expanded into the U.S. market. Today, with pride, we can say that our company successfully exports to 30 countries across Europe, Asia, and America. We continue to seek new markets in which to spread the quality of our wines.
To facilitate a more direct and authentic connection with our customers, we have created a showroom, a welcoming place dedicated to tastings and interaction with those who love our wines.
